Church built in the second half of the fifteenth century and then enlarged in the following century.
It was the seat of the Brotherhood of Santissima Trinità or of Battuti Rossi, because of the red hood that the brothers wore.
The church went through a long period of decadence until the 80s of the twentieth century when it was deconsecrated and donated to the Accademia di Cultura Nicese L'Erca who took care of its restoration.
The building is now the headquarters of the association and hosts cultural events.
